Abstract :
This thesis is entitled " The political culture of a society in Jambi City, Simpang IV Sipin Urban Villages, Telanaipura Sub-district, RT.13 on presidential election 2019 ". refers to the prevailing patterns of beliefs, attitudes, values, and behaviors related to politics within a particular community or nation. It encompasses how individuals and groups in that society perceive and interact with the political system, government, and political processes. Understanding the political culture of a society provides insights into its political dynamics, participation levels, and overall political climate. This type of research is qualitative. The results of the study show political culture of participants in society RT.13 Simpang IV Sipin Urban Villages, Telanaipura Sub-district, Jambi City in the presidential and vice presidential elections in the 2019 elections at a high level of active participation. Furthermore, the data obtained by the author also concludes the orientation of residents RT.13 affectively oriented where RT.13 residents are aware of their obligations as citizens who prioritize the progress of a nation and RT.13 residents do not look at political attributes, the political party they support or the color that characterizes the candidate.
