Abstract :
Abstrak This research aimed to explore the way EFL students? use of movie as a media to learn speaking and to explain EFL students? speaking skill perceives improvement that obtained from watching English movie. The site of this research was at one of universities in Jambi. In this research, the researcher employed qualitative with case studyapproach.The researcher utilized purposive sampling technique in selecting the participants. There were 9 participants of this research consisted of 2 different classes who have been used English movie as their medium to learn speaking skill. In collecting the data, interview was used as a data collection technique. The results of this research indicated that the participants use some methods to use English movie as a medium to hone their speaking skills.Those methods were using subtitles, watching the movie frequently or multiple times,
