The second supervisor is Yulhenli Thabran, S.S., M.A. Keywords: Translation, English Song, EFL Learners, Difficulties in Tanslating Process This study aims to determine difficulties experienced by undergraduate EFL Learners at Jambi University in translating English song and how do they overcome their difficulties during the translating process. This study utilized a qualitative case study which used purposive sampling in selecting participants with criteria set by the researcher. A semi-structured interview was applied in this research to six students from the sixth semester who had through Translation and Interpreting Practice Course to gain data. The data analysis technique used in this study using Miles and Huberman's (1992) mode and the data validity technique in this research is using member checking. The study shows four different difficulties in translating English song that the students experienced during the translating process of Terraform song by Ed Tullet ft. Novo Amor. There were Lack of Vocabulary, Pragmatic-Semantic, Figurative Language, Choosing Appropriate Translation and additional findings. The study also reveals how the students overcome the problems they experienced, by using recall the word, connect the word to other word, match the lyrics with video clip, guessing the meaning through video clip and guessing the meaning of th lyrics by the context.
