Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning dalam materi Menemukan Unsur Karya Fiksi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 12 Kota Jambi. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 3x pertemuan. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini bagaimana guru menerapkan model Project Based Learning dalam materi Menemukan Unsur Karya Fiksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini guru yang mengajar di kelas pada mapel bahasa indonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini terbagi dua, hasil penelitian lapangan dan hasil dokumentasi. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu, observasi, wawancara, tes, dokumentasi. Dalam uji validitas data menggunakan tekhnik triangulasi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Aktivitas Pertanyaan Esensial dan Penentuan Proyek, pada tahap ini sudah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. (2) Aktivitas pada tahap mendesain perencanaan proyek, pada tahap ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif baik guru maupun siswa, belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan baik. (3) Aktivitas pada tahap menyusun jadwal, belum terlaksana dengan baik. (4) Aktivitas pada tahap memonitor siswa dan kemajuan proyek, sudah cukup baik. (5) Aktivitas pada tahap menguji hasil, sudah terlaksana dengan baik. (6) Aktivitas pada tahap evaluasi pengalaman belajar, sudah terlaksana dengan cukup baik. Project based learning dapat dijadikan sebagai model pembelajaran sekarang. Menanamkan nilai didaktis kepada peserta didik agar tidk sombong. Hasil penelitian bisa digunakan sebagai sumber rujukan bagi peneliti lain yang ingin meneliti pada penelitian yang sama dengan kajian berbeda serta dapat dijadikan pedoman.

This research aims to describe how the Project Based Learning Model is implemented in the material Finding Elements of Fiction Works for class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Jambi City. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 12 Jambi City. The research was conducted in 3 meetings. The formulation of this research problem is how teachers apply the Project Based Learning model in the material Finding Elements of Fiction Works. This research uses qualitative methods and descriptive research type. The data source in this research is a teacher who teaches in a class in the Indonesian language subject. The data in this research is divided into two, the results of field research and the results of documentation. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews, tests, documentation. In testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques.
The results of this research are (1) Essential Questions and Project Determination Activities, at this stage they have been carried out very well. (2) Activities at the project planning design stage, at this stage carried out collaboratively by both teachers and students, have not been fully implemented well. (3) Activities at the schedule preparation stage have not been implemented well. (4) Activities at the stage of monitoring students and project progress are quite good. (5) Activities at the results testing stage have been carried out well. (6) Activities at the learning experience evaluation stage have been carried out quite well. Project based learning can be used as a learning model now. Instill didactic values ??in students so they are not arrogant. The research results can be used as a reference source for other researchers who want to research the same research with different studies and can be used as a guide.
