Abstract :
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kelayakan teknis dan finansial usaha cocopeat dan cocofiber di kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Aspek teknis antara lain: lokasi yang ditetapkan yaitu berada pada kecamatan Mendahara, ketersediaan bahan baku sebanyak 6.320 ton/tahun, kapasitas produksi sebanyak 2000 kg/hari dengan output sebanyak 1.180 kg cocopeat dan 760 kg cocofiber, proses produksi dimulai dari penerimaan bahan baku, pengilingan, pengayakan, penyortiran, penjemuran, pengepresan, dan pengemasan. Pemilihan teknologi yang digunakan, tata letak menggunakan pola aliran U-Shaped, tenaga kerja sebanyak 9 orang. Analisis kriteria kelayakan finansial meliputi NVP sebesar Rp 64.275.632 untuk cocopeat dan Rp. 258.970.682 untuk cocofiber (NVP>0) sehingga usaha layak dijalankan. IRR sebesar IRR sebesar 54 % untuk cocopeat dan 36 % untuk cocofiber, PP selama 2,53 tahun untuk cocopeat dan 3,1 tahun untuk cocofiber, Net B/C sebesar 1,08 untuk cocopeat dan 1,3 untuk cocofiber (Net B/C>1) sehingga usaha layak dijalankan, BEP penerimaan cocopeat sebesar Rp. 352.454.713, BEP penerimaan cocofiber sebesar Rp. 389.888.699, BEP produksi cocopeat sebanyak 243.072 kg dan BEP produksi cocofiber sebanyak 88.611 kg, BEP harga cocopeat Rp. 1.338 dan BEP harga cocofiber sebesar Rp. 3.628. This research was conducted to analyze the technical and financial feasibility of the cocopeat and cocofiber business in East Tanjung Jabung district. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative. Technical aspects include: the specified location is in the Mendahara sub-district, the availability of raw materials is 6,320 tons/year, the production capacity is 2,000 kg/day with an output of 1,180 kg of cocopeat and 760 kg of cocofiber, the production process starts from receiving raw materials, milling, styling, sorting, second milling, drying, pressing, and packaging. Selection of the technology used, the layout uses the U-Shaped flow pattern, a workforce of 9 people. Analysis of financial feasibility criteria includes NVP of IDR 64.275.632 for cocopeat and IDR. 258.970.682 for cocofiber (NVP>0) so the business is worth running. IRR is IRR of 54% for cocopeat and 36% for cocofiber, PP of 2.53 years for cocopeat and 3.1 years for cocofiber, Net B/C of 1.08 for cocopeat and 1.3 for cocofiber (Net B/ C>1) so that the business is feasible, the BEP for cocopeat revenues is IDR. 352,454,713, BEP for cocofiber receipts of Rp. 389,888,699, BEP for cocopeat production is 243,072 kg and BEP for cocofiber production is 88,611 kg, BEP for cocopeat price is IDR. 1,338 and the BEP price for cocofiber is Rp. 3,628.
