Abstract :
perairan Danau Maninjau, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat.
meliputi komposisi ikan, jumlah total ikan (ekor), jumlah per jenis (ekor), berat per jenis (gr),
(Oxyeleotris marmorata) sebanyak 64 ekor sedangkan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus)
sebanyak 2.199 ekor (bycatch) dan ikan cere (Gambusia affinis) sebanyak 182 ekor (discard).
Indeks keanekaragaman (H?) bernilai 0,19 termasuk kedalam kategori rendah. Indeks
This study aims to determine the diversity of Lift net catches in the waters of Lake Maninjau,
Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The research was carried out from May 1 to May 21, 2023 with
a survey method, namely making direct observations on the object of research. The chart
samples taken for the study amounted to 3 chart fishing gear with a size of 5m x 5m and were
carried out for 10 trips. The data collected include fish composition, total number of fish (tail),
number per type (tail), weight per type (gr), total weight of fish (kg) and size per type of fish
(cm) as well as environmental parameters. The data obtained from this study were analyzed
descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results showed that the
composition of the floating chart catch was four species of fish with the highest composition of
wader fish (Rasbora sp) as many as 54,518 heads (main catch) and the composition of the
lowest catch, namely betutu fish (Oxyeleotris marmorata) as many as 64 heads while tilapia
(Oreochromis niloticus) as many as 2,199 heads (bycatch) and cere fish (Gambusia affinis) as
many as 182 heads (discard). The diversity index (H') of 0.19 is in the low category. The
uniformity index (E) obtained with a value of 0.14 belongs to the low category. And the
dominance index (C) is 0.92 and is included in the high category.
