Abstract :
The aims of this research were to develop a flipbook-based English reading module for the seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The R&D was employed in this study. The model used for designing the materials was the ADDIE model. It covers five stages, they are need analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The materials are designed for reading skills. The researcher focused on developing reading material for 1st semester. The developed materials were then validated by the experts. There were two experts who validated the product, a material expert and a media expert. Based on the suggestions from the experts the materials were revised the researcher produced the final product of the English reading module. After the product had been validated, the researcher tried out the product in order to see the respond of the product.
