There are many impacts of bullying behavior itself, one of which is a decrease in self esteem. It is a feeling of value, worth or usefulness of oneself that comes from an individual's positive or negative beliefs about his or her ability to be valuable. OBJECTIVES: To determine the influence of bullying on self esteem in victims of X junior high school students in Jambi City. METHODS: This study used a quantitative approach with a simple regression hypothesis test. The respondents in the study were 102 students who were victims of bullying at junior high school students in Jambi City, using a type of non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. RESULTS: The results of this study indicate that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a significant influence between bullying treatment on self esteem in victims of junior high school students in Jambi City. Based on the results of the simple regression test, the R value was 0.282, and the R Square value was 0.080 (F = 8.642; t = -2.940; Sig p = 0.004 < 0.05). This means that bullying behavior has a significant negative influence on self-esteem, with a contribution percentage of 8%. CONCLUSION: There is an influence of bullying on self esteem in victims of Jambi City junior high school students. It is expected that victims can tell and report this case to the related parties, such as parents, counseling teachers, or homeroom teacher. Terdapat banyak dampak dari perilaku bullying itu sendiri, salah satu nya adalah menurunnya self esteem. Self esteem merupakan perasaan tentang nilai, harga atau manfaat dari diri sendiri yang berasal dari kepercayaan positif maupun negatif dari seorang individu tentang kemampuan dirinya untuk menjadi berharga. TUJUAN PENELITIAN: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh bullying terhadap self esteem pada korban siswa SMP X Kota Jambi. METODE: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan uji hipotesis regresi sederhana. Responden dalam penelitian adalah siswa korban bullying SMP X Kota Jambi sebanyak 102 responden, menggunakan jenis non- probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. HASIL: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perlakuan bullying terhadap self esteem pada korban siswa SMP Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi sederhana didapatkan nilai R yaitu sebesar 0,282, dan nilai R Square sebesar 0,080 (F = 8,642; t = -2,940; Sig p = 0,004 < 0,05). Artinya, perilaku bullying memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap self esteem, dengan persentase kontribusi sebesar 8%. SARAN: Terdapat pengaruh bullying terhadap self esteem pada korban siswa SMP Kota Jambi. Dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini diharapkan korban dapat menceritakan dan melaporkan hal ini kepada pihak yang terkait seperti orangtua, guru BK, atau wali kelas. Kata Kunci: bullying, self esteem
