Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan gambaran usahatani sayuran
(2) Menganalisis pendapatan usahatani sayuran (3) Mengetahui kelayakan
usahatani sayuran. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara (purposive) dengan
pertimbangan bahwa di Kecamatan Paal Merah merupakan salah satu kecamatan
dengan hasil produksi sayuran tertinggi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan
adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu analisis pendapatan usahatani dan
analisis kelayakan R/C Ratio. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa (1)
Usahatani sayuran di Kecamatan Paal Merah memiliki luas lahan dengan rata-rata
0,33 Ha dengan luas lahan untuk sawi 0,12 Ha, bayam 0,11 dan kangkung 0,10.
Umur tanam untuk sayur sawi yaitu 25-30 hari, bayam 1-1,5 bulan, sedangkan
untuk kangkung 30-45 hari. Memiliki 4 jenis pola tanam, pola tanam I untuk
sayuran (sawi, bayam, kangkung), pola tanam II untuk sayuran (sawi, bayam,
kangkung, selada), pola tanam III sayuran (sawi, bayam, kangkung, kemangi), pola
tanam IV untuk jenis sayuran (sawi, bayam, kangkung, kemangi, selada). Produksi
sayuran sawi petani sebesar 181 Kg/Petani, produksi bayam 274 Kg/Petani,
sedangkan produksi untuk kangkung sebesar 264 Kg/Ha. (2) Pendapatan usahatani
sayuran atas biaya yang dibayar riil oleh petani sebesar Rp. 5.293.107/MT/Ha. (3)
Nilai rata-rata R/C ratio berdasarkan total biaya yang riil oleh petani sebesar 1,34,
artinya kegiatan usahatani sayuran di Kecamatan Paal Merah memberikan manfaat
dan masih layak diusahakan karena nilai R/C rationya >1.

This research aims to: (1) Describe the description of vegetable farming (2) Analyze
the income of vegetable farming (3) Determine the feasibility of vegetable farming.
This research was conducted purposively with the consideration that Paal Merah
District is one of the districts with the highest vegetable production. The data
analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis, namely analysis of
farming income and feasibility analysis of the R/C Ratio. From the research results
it can be seen that (1) Vegetable farming in Paal Merah District has an average
land area of 0.33 Ha with a land area for mustard greens of 0.12 Ha, spinach 0.11
and kale 0.10. The planting age for mustard greens is 25-30 days, spinach 1-1.5
months, while for kale it is 30-45 days. Has 4 types of planting patterns, planting
pattern I for vegetables (mustard greens, spinach, kale), planting pattern II for
vegetables (mustard greens, spinach, kale, lettuce), planting pattern III for
vegetables (mustard greens, spinach, kale, basil), planting pattern IV for types of
vegetables (mustard greens, spinach, kale, basil, lettuce). Farmers' production of
mustard greens is 181 Kg/Farmer, spinach production is 274 Kg/Farmer, while
production of kale is 264 Kg/Ha. (2) Vegetable farming income from real costs paid
by farmers is IDR. 5,293,107/MT/Ha. (3) The average value of the R/C ratio based
on the total real costs by farmers is 1.34, meaning that vegetable farming activities
in Paal Merah District provide benefits and are still worth pursuing because the R/C
ratio value is >1.
