Abstract :
Indonesia is called an agricultural country with a large marine area that
has a very large diversity of marine and fishery resources, one of which is lobster.
Uncontrolled lobster catching is an exploitative action and approaches a
condition of concern for the sustainability of Lobster biota. This study aims to
determine a definite direction starting from the right lobster catch by considering
age to the rules that form the basis of lobster exports to the legal position of the
Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. The results of the
analysis show that the rules and legal position regarding lobster are contained in
the Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Number 12 of
2020 concerning the management of lobsters, crabs, and crabs
