Abstract :
Translation not only is seen as meaning movement from Source Language into Target Language, but also as process how meaning of the Source Language is translated into Target Language. An annotated translation is method that features process of its translating. The process in annotated translation is form of information regarding words and phrases that writer chooses. This term paper discusses about the translation of words, and phrases in novel Wilbur Smith Assegai. Words and phrases in this novel is to be objects for this research. The study of this research is qualitative method, types of linguistic research that is analyzed by method of data collection in the form of words and phrases in novel Wilbur Smith Assegai as the primary source and supported by some linguistic sources which are related to the study.
