Abstract :
This term-paper is about strategy in translation from English into Indonesian language. Strategy in translation is about what the strategy uses by the translator in translating from source text to target text for have an equalivalent in translateing. On this research, the author uses Theories of Translation, Translation Method and Translation techniques. This research focuses on finding strategy in translation and find the most strategy used by the translator. The aims of this research are to make the viewers can notice the important of translation strategies in series, so that they can understand the meaning wholly, for students who are interested in translation study, they can get a deep understanding about translation strategies, and they can use this research as reference in the future. Movie Series13 Reasons Why is a series about a girl Named Hannahh Baker who kill herself because of bullying. It is created by American creator, Brian Yorkey. 13 reasons why is the primary source of this research and related Theories of Translation, Translation Methods, and techniques are the secondary source.
