Abstract :
Natural rights are very important for a human being. Natural rights protect
someone to be as equal as other humans. The highest two priorities of
natural rights are the right to life and liberty. The research in the term paper
aims to analyze the reflection of natural rights trough a character in The
Good Daughter Novel by Karin Slaughter. The analysis is related to John
Locke?s theory of Natural Rights. His theory focuses on how someone
deserves a life and liberty that no one can bother or harm included the
government. Rusty Quinn is the main character in the novel. A lawyer who
keeps defending guilty people and this gets him into risky situations.
