Abstract :
This term-paper is about English-Indonesia annotated translation. Annotated translation is a translation with the notes from the translator. In conducting this research, I use qualitative method theories, it contains explanations about annotated translation using translation methods, procedure, and technique that are appropriate and suitable for words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that are translated from source text to target text. The translation methods, procedure, and technique are used to give equivalent translation from source language to target language. The aim of this research is to help the reader to comprehend the whole text of the source language. The result of this research is to create a good and correct translation On The Come Up novel. On The Come Up is a novel about Brianna Jackson, a 16 years old girl who is trying to lift her family out of poverty with her rapping talent. It is written by an American author of bestselling, Angie Thomas, inspired based on her own experience. In this research, On The Come Up novel is the primary source and supported by some relevant theories, concepts, and definitions as the secondary source.
