Abstract :
In communication, people who can speak two languages (bilingual) often switch language to their interlocutors. Code switching and code mixing are language phenomena that occur in a communication process and have become a trend for Indonesian people nowadays. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of code switching and code mixing by Jharna Bhagwani in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast entitled "LATHI??INI SERAM TAPI CANTIK BGT (Jharna Bhagwani)". Specifically, this study examines the types of code switching and code mixing, as well as what types are most frequently used by Jharna Bhagwani. This research uses a descriptive qualitative and collects data through Jharna Bhagwani's videos uploaded on Deddy Corbuzier's youtube channel. The results of this study show that there are 35 code switching data, and 21 code mixing data used by Jharna Bhagwani when communicating with her interlocutors. To sum up, the most frequent code used by Jharna is intersentential code switching and alternation code mixing.
