Abstract :
This study aims to find the types of conversational implicatures and their implicit meaning in each utterance in the Turning Red movie (2022). I used the theory from ?Herbert Paul Grice? about Cooperative Principle was used to identify conversational implicature in characters dialogue. especially, the flouting of maxims and the conversational implicatures based on a pragmatic approach. Research object was taken from the script and the movie itself. Based on the background of the research, I decides from the problems of the research are: the maxims of cooperative principle that non-observance ,What type of conversational implicatures used in the dialogue of the characters in Turning Red Movie Script (2022). To explain each utterance used the non-observance of maxim occurs in the dialogue of the characters and How the non-observance of maxim occurs in the dialogue in the Turning Red Movie Script (2022). This study used qualitative descriptive method. There are conversational implications found in the conversations that take place between the characters in the movie Turning Red. thirty utterances are classified as conversational implicatures. Therefore, in this study, generalized conversational implicature is the dominant datum found in Turning Red, because most conversations are easy to understand the implicit meaning, it is enough to know the context of the situation.
