Abstract :
This research uses intrinsic and extrinsic methods to assess how Racial Discrimination is presented in the main characters through the "Emancipation" Film Script, Racial Discrimination is still often found in several real-life cases. The purpose of this analysis can be used to analyze extrinsic aspects such as discrimination, This research aims to analyze the main character, plot, and setting as well as the script of the film "Emancipation" by using the concept of literary sociology through theory. This research will also elaborate on themes using intrinsic and extrinsic approaches, This research took place from November 2023 to January 2024 at Darma Persada University, East Jakarta. This research method uses a qualitative approach to data obtained from movie scripts and literature studies. This Emancipation Film script tells the story of the struggle of Peter the main character.
