Abstract :
This thesis examines the script for Sarah Polley's The Women Talking, which was released on
December 23, 2022. It narrates the tale of a group of women in Bolivia's Colony Manitoba who
receive feminism from the males living there. This thesis examines the feminism that many
Colony women experience and discusses how these women might seek justice and their rights as
victims of abuse or other injustices. Several dialogues from the characters in Sarah Polley's
screenplay for the movie The Women Talking (2022) were gathered for this thesis research. As a
result of this investigation, the author discovered that the extrinsic analysis which examines liberal
feminism and intrinsic analysis which examines character, story, setting, and theme both, Women
in Bolivia's Colony Manitoba are free to leave in order to find a place that is secure and
comfortable for themselves and their family.
