Abstract :
This thesis aims to analyze habitus, arena, and capital contained in the film Crazy Rich Asian, Movie script by Chiarelli and Lim (2018). through his intrinsic and extrinsic approach. The intrinsic approach used in this research is the analysis of characterization, plot, and setting. The extrinsic approach used in this research is Bourdieu's concept. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyzing the data. The object of this research is Movie script by Chiarelli and Lim (2018). The result of this research is the description between plot, characterization, and setting with the concept of habitus; the description between plot, characterization, and setting with the concept of arena; and the description between plot, character, and setting with the concept of capital. Based on this research, the Movie script Crazy Rich Asian by Chiarelli and Lim represents the concepts of habitus, arena, and capital through plot, character and characterization, and setting.
