Abstract :
The title of this term-paper is about The Analysis of Speech Act Maxim Violation in Tom Cruise and Larry King conversation taken from CNN-News. I use qualitative methods by collecting datas of conversation text in Tom Cruise and Larry King. The maxim violation that arise in the conversation is described in two ways, the first, about the definition of maxims, the type of maxims, the maxim principles and second, proving the violation of maxims in the conversation.
