Abstract :
This research aim: (1) To find out the students? intrinsic motivation, and (2)To find outthe student?s extrinsic motivation towards online learning in English study. Program at Sintuwu Maroso University.This research useda quantitative approach with the. Type of survey. Method,the data collection techniqueused was a questionnaire. The subject in this research is students in the English study program at Sintuwu Maroso University. The population in the research of 67 students. The sample was 49 students. The results of this research obtained that students' intrinsic motivation to participate online learning were the students? hope to get better understand what is being learned, the need to get better knowledge, and thare is an interest to online studies. Students' extrinsic motivation to participate online learning were family encouragement to be more enthusiastic about learning through online learning, an environment that drives students to participate online learning, and the existence of rewards that encourage students to take in online learning.
