Abstract :
The objective of this research is to find out the leadership of village head at Ampana Kota sub-district, Tojo Una-Una Regency. Theory used in this research is by Harbani Pasolong (2008; p. 39-40), directive, participate, supportive, and result oriented. This research is a qualitative one that uses the village head office apparatus as the informants. The sample was chosen purposely, and the data were gained through observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique are data reduction, data display, and concluding. The result shows that among the four indicators, instruction is the low indicator, the village head has not maximally conducted it yet. The leadership style has effects on the people being led, it should has a good communication with the people.
