Abstract :
This research aims to investigate the level of self-efficacy student majoring in English education at Sintuwu Maroso University who have gone through PLP 1 and PLP 2 activities, one of which is teaching practice in 2022. The research method used is Mixmethod with a survey approach. Number of participants participating in research were 17 English language education students. Collection process data using two instruments, namely questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree Then the results of the questionnaire are tabulated and categorized into two categories, namely high and low based on the category interval formula. Interview followed by 9 of 17 English Language Education students using six questions related to five aspects that influence self-efficacy in teaching practice with a division into two categories that explains The conditions for the level of self-efficacy are low and high categories. Research result shows that prospective teacher students are included in the low category for their level of self-efficacy.
