Abstract :
This research aims to identify areas of developing religious values for children aged 5-6 years in Gandus Village, Palembang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study was parents using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires and direct interviews with parent in Gandus Village, Palembang. Based on the research results, it was found that the religious values of children aged 5-6 years in Gandus Subdistrict Palembang, were 79,53% always developed, characterized by the ability to know their religion, carry out worship, know religious holidays, respect (tolerance) other people?s religion. Furthermore, there is a method for developing religious values that can develop children?s religious values with a persentage result of 95,86% in the Always category. So overall, the research result in the field of developing religious values for children age 5-6 years are 87,69% which is in the Alway category Keywords : Religious Values, Method Development, Children Aged (5-6) Years
