Abstract :
This study aimed to examine how the effect of perception and the use of accounting information by SMEs owners or managers on the success of their business. Owners or managers of SMEs that are sampled in this study are those recommended by industry, Trade, Cooperative and SMEs Service of Pangkalpinang which have implemented accounting bookkeeping on their business. The result of this study conducted in Pangkalpinang are perception of accounting information does not affect the success of business, the use of accounting information has positive and significant effect on the success of business and last perception and use of accounting information has positive and significant effect simultaneously on the success of SM Es in Pangkalpinang.
