Abstract :
The study aims to determined the species of medicinal plants, plant organs; medicinal herbs, processing and the use value of medicinal plants by Lintang Tribe, Eks Muara Danau Clan. This study uses descriptive method and purposive sampling technique. The data collection was done by interviewing five traditional medicine therapist. The results of data collection obtained 55 species of plants with the highest use value of medicinal plants (0,8) that recommended by four traditional medicine therapist such as. Alpinia galanga (L.) Willd., Curcuma longa L., Cymbopogon citratus (DC) Stapf., and Zingiber officinale Roscoe.The most used part of the plant is leaf (63,63%). The medicinal herbs as many as 56 variant which is can treat 37 kinds illness or health disorder. The most first and second step of methode processing medicinal herbs are boiled (35,71%) dan brewed (42,85%). Implications of the study could be as medicinal plants information for the public and learning tools Booklet for Biology learning Senior High School.
