Abstract :
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected education and work systems around the world, causing schools and public places to be closed or limiting the number of their users. Hybrid Learning is learning that combines two learning activities or models, namely combining online learning and face-to-face learning. Various kinds of obstacles are experienced by students in the learning process of applying hybrid learning in speaking. The focus of the study is divided into three things, namely the learning process, the challenge, and applying hybrid learning in speaking. The purpose of this study was to find out how is the process and what are the challenges of applying hybrid learning in speaking at Bojonegoro Integrated Model Senior High School. This research used qualitative descriptive methods with research instruments used observations and interviews. The respondents in this study were ten students of grader X social one. The results of this study found the challenges when the students got sessions online learning like the signal is cut it off, the data runs out suddenly, or the teacher has problems with the connection so students did not hear her voice, and the delivery of the material it was not acceptable. The students did not understand the material that has presented and they have difficulty communicating with the teacher.
