Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to look at the independent variable development of employment opportunities, work productivity, economic growth rate and dependent variable income inequality and analyze employment opportunities, work productivity and economic growth rate on income inequality in the agricultural sector in East Nusa Tenggara Province and also analyze the influence of variables employment opportunities, work productivity and the rate of economic growth towards income inequality in the agricultural sector in East Nusa Tenggara Province. The data used is secondary data. The analysis used in this data is panel data regression. This is done to see the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable in 22 districts/cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This panel data regression analysis uses common effect method, fixed effect, random effect and Hausman test. The results showed that from the t test for the employment opportunity variable X1 obtained t-count of -0.638421 with a significance level of 0.05 and the value of df = 22 obtained the probability value of 0.5246. The results of the t test for the variable X2, obtained t-count value of -0.466380 with a significance level of 0.05 and the probability was 0.6419. The above test shows the effect of variable X2 on variable Y can be explained that the increase in work productivity will lead to a decrease in income inequality. The results of the t test for the variable X3, obtained t-count value of -0.091520 with a significance level of 0.05 and the probability was 0.9273. The results of the analysis show that the influence of the variable X3 on variable Y, means that the higher the rate of economic growth will result in a decrease in income inequality. The results of the F test in the common effect table obtained F-count value of 0.337533 with a significance of 0.05 and obtained the probability of 0.798221. This means that from the results of the F test analysis shows the probability value 0.798221>0.05, it can be concluded that the X1, X2, and X3 together (simultaneously) have a positive to variable Y. From the test results of the independent variable and the dependent variable concluded that there is a correlation between the variables of X1, X2, and the X3 against Y of 0.16 percent and the remaining 9.84 percent explained by other variables not examined.
