Abstract :
Insurance is a way people choose to control the various risks that dominate him. Therefore, there are many insurance programs offered, including life insurance products, vehicles and building insurance. The selection of the type of insurance becomes an important issue for interested parties. Many prospective buyers who do not understand their choices yet in detail, so sometimes many insurance companies because they do not have the understanding of the Insurance. In facilitating and supporting the selection process of insurance, it is necessary to create a decision-making system that can be used to assist prospective clients in the choice of insurance. The method that can be used is the analytical hierarchy process that compares the meaning of the criteria and applies it in the comparison matrix to obtain the weight of each criterion. Tools uses Netbeans with Java programming language and MySQL database. By creating this system, the insurer can assist in assisting customers in determining the type of insurance on 'PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera' Kupang branch in accordance with their wishes and needs.
