Abstract :
Counseling conducted by the BKKBN Office for the community to introduce contraceptive devices and their functions and usage still use flyers, brochures and Microsoft Power Point. This results in less effective, resulting in a lack of community understanding of contraceptive devices. For that we need to design an interactive multimedia application as a tool for counseling. The method used to build this application is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design of material feeding, manufacture, testing, and distribution. This application is built using Macromedia Flash 8. The resulting multimedia app contains material about contraceptives, with an interesting animation so that it is clearer how the use of contraceptives can help people better understand about contraceptive devices.
