Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to (1) know the internet usage among students of Mathematics Education Study Program of Catholic University Widya Mandira Kupang (2) to know the influence of internet usage as a learning resource to mathematics learning achievement of Mathematics Education Study Program of Catholic University Widya Mandira Kupang. The independent variables in this study internet usage (X) while the dependent variable is the learning achievement (Y). This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 314 students with the sample amounted to 116 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Internet usage data by using questionnaire instrument. To test the feasibility of the instruments used to test the validity and reliability. Meanwhile, to test the regression feasibility using the classical assumption test and the whole analysis using SPSS version 22.00. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant influence between the use of the Internet as a source of learning on mathematics learning achievement of students Mathematics Education Studies Program Catholic University Widya Mandira Kupang of 28.1% seen from the value = 6,678 >1,980992 = on 5% significance . The low effect of internet usage on student's mathematics learning achievement is due to the use of internet which is more dominated by students as entertainment media and lectures which are still not internet based or utilize internet maximally
