Abstract :
The process of studying medicinal plants (Apotik Hidup) in grade 4 students of Fatufeto I Inpres State Elementary School which is currently running, is still using instructional media book. Where the teacher explained in front of the class and the students sat listening. This method tends to make students feel bored and less understanding of the material being taught. So there needs to be a learning media that is packaged more interesting and foster interest in student learning, one of them by making multimedia applications as a medium of learning for 4th graders of SD Negeri Inpers Fatufeto 1 Kupang. In designing this application the methodology to be used is the method of multimedia development stage where the method includes the stage of Conception, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, Distribution, this application is built using Macromedia Flash 8. The results of the application is a multimedia-based live pharmacy learning, so this application can be used as an alternative in improving the interest of elementary school children about medicinal plants or pharmacies live.
