Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine students errors in solving mathematical problems in the subject of circles. This research was conducted on students of Fatuleu Jonior High School 1 class IX D, amounting to 3 students. Which were used in this study were obtained through test questions first and process interviews by using a sample of 3(three) student, students with high ability, students with moderate ability and students with low abilities. The results of this study are the types of students? errors in solving math problems including errors in understanding the problem, trensformation errors,process skill errors, and writing errors. In general, the most prominent mistakes made by students in solving problems are errors in understanding the problemms and errors of process skills. Based on the results of the analysis it can be seen that the most prominent mistakes made by students are errors in understanding problem and errors in procces, this is due to lack of clarity of students in working on the questions given by the teacher.
