Abstract :
The main problem in this research is about how the implementation of the learning model and its effect on the students' mathematical communication skills taught using multi-representation learning model of the multi subject subdividing in SMP Angkasa Kupang academic year 2017/2018. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the implementation of learning and the influence of multi-representation discourse learning model on students' mathematical communication skills on the sub subject line at SMP Angkasa Kupang academic year 2017/2018. This research was conducted on the students of class VII A SMP Angkasa Kupang academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 28 students selected by using purposive sampling. Instruments used in this study are observation, interview and test the ability of communication matenatis 5 items in the form of description. Data analysis technique used in this research that is result of observation, result of interview, achievement of indicator and t-test. Based on the results of observation, the results of interviews and achievement of indicators, obtained students' mathematical communication ability is quite good. While based on t-test calculation shows tcount = 35.769 and ttable = 2.0518 at 5% significance level which means tcount> ttable, then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of learning models of multi-representation discourse to the mathematical communication ability of class VII students A.
