Abstract :
This study aims to determine the influence of parents' attention and motivation to learn on the mathematics learning achievement of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang students. This research type is Quantitative research with multiple regression analysis technique. The population in this study is all students of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Kupang academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 128 people and the sample of this study is proportional random sampling where 56 students sampled. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and mathematics achievement tests. Date analysis was done by using SPSS 22 for windows program. From the output of SPSS 22 for windows, based on normality test, Linearity, and Multicollinearity, parents' attention and learning motivation have an influence on mathematics learning achievement. In multiple regression analysis, parents' attention and learning motivation had an influence on mathematics learning achievement, and obtained regression equation Y = 48.481 + 0.426 + 0.751 and = 17.231 ? 3.17 = . Then reject H0, it means there is influence of parents attention and motivation to learn achievement learn mathematics student SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. Based on the output of SPSS 22 for windows, the F test of parents' attention and learning motivation have an influence on mathematics learning achievement and t test, parental attention and learning motivation also have influence on mathematics learning achievement. Based on the result of the research, the researcher concludes that there is partially significant influence from the attention of parents to the achievement of mathematics learning of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang academic year 2017/2018, there is partially significant influence from the motivation of learning to the mathematics learning achievement of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang doctrine 2017/2018, there is a significant influence simultaneously from the attention of parents and the motivation to learn on mathematics learning achievement of SMP Negeri 8 Kupang academic year 2017/2018.
