Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether there is the effect of cooperative learning model type Think Thalk Write on the ability of think creative thought math static students SMP Negeri 5 Kupang. The sample in this research is VIIIK students of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang which is 25 students. Data used in this research is pretest and posttest data from experiment class by using of cooperative learning model type Think Thalk Write. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 22. Prior to hypothesis testing, prerequisite tests were tested for normality for pretest and posttest data. From the analysis results for pretest data obtained Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.068> 0.05 and Dcount = 0.168 <0.264 = Dtable. Because it meets the testing criteria datapretest is normally distributed. While the data obtained posttest Asymp.Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0,200> 0,05 and Dcount = 0,116<0,264 = Dtable. This data also meets the test criteria so that posttest data is normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using paired sample test, after analyzed data obtained by Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0,05 and tcount = 26,634> 2.064 = ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning there is a significant the effect on cooperative learning model type Think Thalk Write on the ability of think creative thought math static students SMP Negeri 5 Kupang. The results of this study indicate that the tools of former materials have an effect on to the achievement of learning mathematics. Therefore, the authors suggest for teachers to use cooperative learning model type Think Thalk Write on learning in class according to the material to be taught.
