Abstract :
The purpose of the research are to know the implementation by using
Project Based Learning method toward mathematics learning achievement of
students in Angkasa Junior high school ; The second, To know mathematics
learning achieverment by Project Based Learning method toward mathematics
learning achieverment of studentsnin Angkasa junior high school and the last,
there is effect of Project Based Learning toward mathematics learaning
achieverment of student in Angkasa junior high scool. The sample in this study is
the students of class VIII B junior high school Angkasa Kupang which amounted
to 24 students. The data used in this study is taken from the result of pretest and
posttest of the experiment class by Project Based Learning model. The data
obtained have been analysed by using SPSS of 22 version. Before hypotesis
testing, do the prerequisite test there is normality test for pretest and posttest data.
The data obtained from the results of pretest analysis was Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=
0,200 > 0,05 and Dhitung = 0,119 < 0,269 = Dtabel. Because it has qualified testing
so pretest data is normally distributed. While the data is postest get the value
Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)=0,141 > 0,05 dan Dhitung = 0,155 < 0,269 = Dtabel. This data
has qualified testing so the posttest data is normally distributed.
Hypotesis testing used paired sample test, after the data were analyzed the result
was Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)= 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung= 17,168 > 2,069 = ttabel. Then
H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, it means there is influence that significant to
Project Based Learning model toward student mathematics achievement of state
junior high school Angkasa Kupang. The results of this study indicate that the
Project Based Learning model have an effect on the mathematics achievement. So
that, the writer recommend for the teachers to used the Project based Learning
model to the learning process in the class room according to the materials being taught.
