Abstract :
This study aims to determine the secondary metabolites of Lantana depressa Small, Lantana urticoides and Lantana camara Linn leaves and to determine the antibacterial activity of Lantana camara Linn leaf extract against Escherichia coli bacteria. The method used to obtain Lantana leaf extract is soxhletation and analysis of secondary metabolites using GC-MS. While the leaf extract of Lantana camara Linn was obtained by maceration method, and testing for antibacterial activity was carried out by well diffusion method. The results showed that the secondary metabolite compounds of the leaves of Lantana depressa Small, Lantana urticoides and Lantana camara with the main compounds namely Trans Kariopfillen 45.36%, Caryophyllene oxide 64.995% and Trans Kariopfilen 24.80%. The results of the antibacterial activity test performed showed that the diameter of the inhibition zone was the highest at a concentration of 20% with a value of 7.2 mm.
