Abstract :
Knowledge of plants as traditional medicine is only controlled by the elderly. The current young generation is very less motivated to seek knowledge from the elderly, and is gradually being abandoned due to various factors, therefore, it is necessary to make an effort to document knowledge of traditional medicine along with efforts to preserve medicinal plants for this documentation, namelly through a study of the use of medicinal plants in Forekmodok Village, this study aims to determined the types of medicinal plants, the parts of the plants used and how to process the medicinel plants. The methods used are interviews and observations as well as identification. Based on the results of the research cinducted, it is known that there are 21 types of plants that are used as medicine. Medicinal plants consist of 5 habitus, namely shrubs (6 types of plants), tree (5 types of plants), bush (1 species of plants), lianas (1 types of plants), herbs (4 types of plants), the parts of the plant used are leaves (16 types of plants), fruit (2 types of plants), skin (5 types of plants), rhizomes (2 types of plants), sap (2 types of plants), seeds (1 type of plants), based on the processing of medicinal plants as follows, named boiled, pounded, drunk, smeared, chewed or crushed, pasted.
