Abstract :
This study aims to determine the antioxidant and cytotoxic activity of the bark and leaves of linden (Tilia cordata). The phytochemical screening test used the maceratio method which showed that extracts of linden bark and leaves cotained flavonoids, steroids and saponins. Antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH method and vitamin C was used as a comparision. While the cytotoxic test uses the BSLT method. The results showed that the extracts of stem bark and linden leaves showed antioxidant activity with IC50 values of 18.20 ppm and 11.49 ppm in very strong categories. While the results of the activity with an LC50 value of 16.69 ppm and 11.89 ppm in the very toxic category.
