Abstract :
This thesis is entitled Community Empowerment Through the CommunityBased Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision Program (PAMSIMAS) in Nobo Village, Ile Boleng District, East Flores Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze community empowerment through the Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision program in Nobo Village, Ile Boleng District, East Flores Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, with 15 informants. The informant the determination technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The data sources obtained are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the PAMSIMAS program in Nobo village, Ile Boleng District, East Flores Regency can be carried out in three phases, namely: (1) mission phase, at this stage, what is done in the community-Based Drinking Water Provision and Sanitation program is the formationof a management body for managing drinking water facilities and infrasructuture in Nobo Village. (2) participatory phase, at this stagethe role of the government is increasingly reduced by actively involving the community in order to achieve independence. This is marked by the opersation and maintenance of the clean water system thet has been built. (3) emancipation phase, at this phase the community can determine its own existence so that it can optimize everything that has been carried out in the PAMSIMAS program.
