Abstract :
Di masa ini, kekerasan menjadi salah satu hal yang mudah untuk ditemui. Meskipun kekerasan dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja, namun penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa kekerasan banyak dilakukan oleh pria, khususnya usia dewasa muda. Akan tetapi, kekerasan hanyalah salah satu bentuk perilaku agresif. Terdapat beberapa bentuk perilaku agresif, seperti agresi fisik, verbal, kemarahan, dan kebencian. Berbagai faktor dapat menentukkan munculnya perilaku agresif, salah satunya adalah interaksi dalam keluarga yang dapat dilihat dalam attachment style. Setiap individu memiliki satu tipe attachment style yang dominan dari antara secure, preoccupied, dismissing avoidant, dan fearful avoidant berdasarkan teori Bartholomew. Dalam penelitian ini, partisipan terdiri dari 203 subyek di Jabodetabek. Setiap partisipan melakukan pengisian kuesioner menggunakan Relationship Scale Questionnaire dan Aggression Questionnaire. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh masing-masing tipe attachment style terhadap agresivitas pada pria dewasa muda (p<.05). / At this time, violence became one of the easy things to find. Although violence can be done by anyone, but previous research stated that violence is mostly carried out by men, especially young adults male. However, violence is only one form of aggressive behavior. There are several forms of aggressive behavior, such as physical, verbal, anger, and hostility. Various factors can determine the emergence of aggressive behavior, one of which is interaction in the family that can be seen in attachment style. Each individual has one dominant type of attachment style from secure, preoccupied, dismissing avoidant, and fearful avoidant based on Bartholomew?s theory. In this study, participants consisted of 203 subjects in Jabodetabek. Each participant filled out the questionnaire using Relationship Scale Questionnaire and Aggression Questionnaire. The results of this study indicate the influence of each type of attachment styles on aggressiveness in young adults male (p<.05).
