Abstract :
The study entitled An analysis of love meaning in ?Love In The Future? Album By John Legend has the purposes to describe about John Legend?s song lyrics as an example of a song that containing of love meaning and can be used as an alternative to improve love meaning, especially for young people. This study use objective approach to find the meaning of song lyrics and use intrinsics element by Mario Klarer to analyze love meaning contained in John Legend?s song lyrics. This research analyse 16 song lyrics of John Legend. This study analysis the problem of study with describe qualitative. The study analyse John Legend?s song lyrics with use reduction data and interpretation analysis method in John Legend?s song lyrics relation of love meaning. This study finding 1 sincerity, 1 simplicity, 1 hopes and struggles, 1 hope and fidelity, 1 hope and happiness, 1 hope and faithfulness, 1 sincerity and fidelity, 1 destiny, 1 happiness, 3 faithfulness, and 4 expectation on John Legend?s song lyrics. Therefore, this study have evidence if song lyrics not only as entertainment media, but the songs also convey about love which can be applied in daily activities.
