Abstract :
In the current era of globalization technology is growing very rapidly, Many developed new services that support ease in various fields, especially the field of education. But not all activities that exist in a school are published like for example in SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta, lack of supporting media in extracurricular activities. When the researcher went directly to the field and interviewed the resource persons in the form of the school counselor, BK got the conclusion that the lack of information delivery of each extracurricular so that many do not know. Based on that the researchers will build an extracurricular portal system that serves to tell about ekstrakulikuler in SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta. The method used by the researcher is the waterfall method, because using the approach systematically and sequentially, step by step traversed must wait for the completion of the previous stage and run in sequence. The programming language used in building this system is PHP, and the data base used is My SQL. The expected result is an extracurricular portal system, which contains extracurricular activities and achievements, where parents can keep an eye on their children because of this extracurricular portal system
