Abstract :
In this 4th industrial revolution, the shipbuilding industry is one of the manufacturing industries that revitalizes both in terms of shipyard facilities and support access. Ramp door is one of the supporting accesses to support material transportation in the shipyard. Besides being used on ro-ro ships, ramp doors are also used on barges and floating docks. The design of the ramp door must consider the strength of the construction so that deformation of the structure can be avoided and the resulting stress does not exceed the allowable stress according to the BKI rules. In this study, an analysis was conducted on the effect of revitalizing the ramp door ex-barge on the strength factor of the ramp door floating dock Kalpataru 9000 TLC. Analysis of strength calculations using the software Structure Analysis Program (SAP 2000 V.21) with Finite Element Method (FEM) with variations in vehicle loading. The effect of the ramp door ex-barge strength on the floating dock Kalpataru 9000 TLC is decreasing load capacity by 3 tons. This difference is due to the use of different profiles for each main frame (longitudinal frame) of the ramp door. In the ramp door ex-barge, the equivalent stress that occurs due to a 15 ton load is 144.69 N/mm2. While the ramp door floating dock with a load of 12 tons is 143.02 N/mm2. The maximum stress produced has met the stress permitted by the Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (?v allowable 153,19 N/mm2).
