Abstract :
The field of higher education is increasingly competitive nowadays where competition between institutios is getting tighter. This is indicated by the efforts to improve the quality of activities in each institution. UPN Veteran Jakarta as a higher education institution is an institution with various kinds of activities, both academic and non-academic activities. One of the supporting components in improving the quality of these activities is the student organizations through its events. From a survey conducted with students, it is known that the current information systems to manage the event is considered ineffective because it has several limitations. One of which is the lack of flexibily on the website platform used. Therefore, through this research, the researcher wants to design and build an android-based event management system. The goals is to assist the event publication and registration process of participants on the event that helf by studentat organizations at UPN Veteran Jakarta, so the event management can be more effective and efficient. The method used in developing this application is the Agile method adopting the Scrum Framework. The results of this study are in the form of a new android-based mobile application that is used to manage event at UPN Veteran Jakarta.
