Abstract :
Economic liberalization opens up competition at the economic level of countries in the world is getting stronger. Through trade between countries to meet each other's needs and also open up opportunities for companies in one country to expand their market segmentation to other countries. In the face of economic liberalization, the role of the government is very necessary to regulate the income and expenditure of wealth owned by the state, so as to create an orderly economic cycle. Through the role of the government, economic liberalization can open up opportunities for people to be able to get jobs so as to grow public demand. This study aims to analyze the effect of trade, foreign investment, government spending, inflation, and labor on economic growth in 5 Asian countries with the highest GDP levels. This study uses panel data regression analysis. Based on the research, it is known that the variables of trade, foreign investment, and the number of workers have a significant effect on economic growth. The results of this study are intended to be research material for further researchers and can be used to assist the government in planning policy directions.
