Abstract :
Occupational accidents saused due to unsafe actions and work-fatigue. This can be indicated by the condition of employees who do not use personal protective equipment, unsuitable working methods, work in a hurry and unergonomic working postures. This study aimed to analyse associations between unsafe-act, and work-fatigue with occupational accidents among day labors in PT. Lembah Karet Padang. The research used was a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The research instrument used were the unsafe-act, occupational accidents and IFRC questionnaire. The population in this study was 106 people. The research sample was 84 respondents using the proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate with chi-square test.This study found 46 day labors (54.8%) had involved in occupational accidents. Bivariate analysis showed significant associations between unsafe-act (p-value=0.025), and work-fatigue (p-value = 0.003) with occupational accidents. Company is suggested to provide training to work safe, make work rotation every 2 hours and employ more workers. Employees is suggested to increase increase knowledge related to occupational safety and health, and take adequate rest
