Abstract :
PT. X is the largest precast concrete producer in Indonesia. According to the material fulfillment of JIS 2019 project, the company has inventory conditions that are often overstock and stockout, therefore its necessary to conduct an inventory control analysis to obtain an optimal planning and cost balancing. The first step is calculated the lot size using existing method by making Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Then demands are analyzed using inventory cost by wagner within algorithm and silver meal algorithm. The result of this study indicated the wagner within algorithm has the most optimal ordering frequency by 6 times order of cements, 4 times order of sand, and 6 times order of split stones with the equal quantity of ordering raw material by demand and wagner within has the largest percentage saving compared to the existing and silver meal methods with 7.21% by a total cost Rp 31,592,011,471 that the Wagner Within Algorithm was chosen as the optimal method for the company to be used in planning and controlling inventory of the projects.
