Abstract :
Islamic boarding school is a place for learning and teaching, which is more focused on learning about religion. In an age where everything can be accessed via smartphone, parents are worried about the content their children can access. To limit this, many parents decided to send their children to Islamic boarding schools. However, many parents are worried that if their children go to an Islamic boarding school, they cannot be monitored properly. With these problems, this study aims to digitize the monitoring of the activities of the santri in Islamic boarding schools by creating a monitoring information system that can later be implemented in Islamic boarding schools, and help ustadz/teachers informed the activities or situation of their santri to parents or guardians of their santri. In making the system, author used methods of data collecting by observation, interviews and documentary studies, analyzing the system by using the PIECES method, and then designing using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. Therefore, the outcome of this research will result in a website-based santri monitoring application that can later be useful to overcome concerns from parents who want to put their children in Islamic boarding schools.
